Have a friend selling a Alkota 220v hot water unit and a generator. He is selling for a good price. I am thinking about getting it and adding hot water to my trailer. Does anyone have any suggestions, pros or cons. On putting a electric hot water washer on a trailer with a generator.

usually when i give a long reason when people just try to talk me into agreeing with whay they want to do. That gets lengthy lol. Never good to run 2 machines to accomplish same thing one machine can

Yes of course. Then you would have to have the space for the genny on board, if yes not a problem.
I am assuming the electrical connections would be rated for outdoor?
They make generators with 220 plugs lol

I wouldn’t… What’s the wattage on the washer? surge and running? If it’s a decent washer it will require a generator the size of a Prius lol
ignore the volts. Its the watts that are going to stop you.
