1 gallon 5% sh and a couple teaspoons detergent! On a related note I bought my first 12.5% sh. $5 bucks a gallon. I have to find a cheaper source!
@Sasquatch have you checked pool supply
Yeah, the $5 12.5% was a pool supply company. I don’t have an account there yet. Hopefully it will be less after I do.
Since it at Walmart Just walk back to pool stuff and get liquid chlorine 10% sh u can buy 2gals for 6.44
Menards sells 12.5% for 3.55 a gallon.
I believe you are in the Portland area? I’m in Vancouver. Get ahold of Kim at cascade Columbia
No Menards out here unfortunately. The $5 sh was a pool supply company called SCP. Price could be high because I don’t have an account there yet. Seem like good guys.
Thanks EP. Cascade Columbia was next on my list. SCP is closer but Sherwood is not far. Thank you very much!
Have to buy volume at my local pool supply for a break. Got a chemical manufacturer in a neighboring town but they are $5/Gallon. Haven’t bought from them but at least their juice would be freshly manufactured. Maybe even as high as 20%.
Disregard every post that tells you to buy your chemicals at walmart or menards. I use to buy mine at Menards, but it’s life changing to find a chemical distributor. @ExpertPowerWash gave you the contact info of a chemical distributor who likely sells the stuff you need for under $2.50 a gallon and it’s going to be fresh and strong and life changing to realize it actually works better than anything you’ve ever bought at a box store…
I get the warm and fuzzies every time I think about showing up to fresh new barrels in my shop and I don’t have to pour off 30 individual gallons or load up boxes and boxes of the stuff at the end of a day. Life changing…
How much SH are you running through on a typical week? For those of us not using as much SH each week are we still better off buying bulk from a chem store and sitting on it for a few weeks?
You know any distributors in PAlm .beach county FLA
Probably. I go through 220+ gallons a month,
but my supplier charges $50 to deliver one drum or 20 drums. If it’s fresh it’s likely higher than 12.5% and if you have a space to store it out of heat and light it’ll last you a month easy.
Obviously the chemical distributors would be the way to go. But I have seen a box of 3 indivuall pool shock gallons for 10 bux at home.depot . And that was 10% but I’m in FL Wich only goes up to 10% for some reason. But maybe by you they carry 12%
You have to do alot of finnessing to get that deal?? lol @squidskc
Nope. That’s their delivery price to my area, but they’re 30 minutes away. Check for Harcros Chemicals near your area and I bet it’s similar.
Thanks squid
Anytime
I don’t just in my area
