Had an interesting situation this morning, on my second job I go to hook up to the spigot and it snaps off in my hand!
It took a few seconds for my mind to gasp the situation, I saw the damn spigot in my hand and water spraying everywhere
I knew it was gonna be a long day.
So I shut the water off, and I call my coustomer to see… and I notice the problem!
Landscape guy used a male threaded galvanized pipe to a copper pipe… It was completely corroded! Pipes where only 1 year old
Luckily, I was able to run back to my garage and get all my welding stuff and fixed the issue… they had the water back and I was able to finish the job…
