Stuck pollen

Never has this happen, painted wood siding (paint is 2years old and in great shape, its ok with SH).

is coated in pollen that has been sitting there and it doesn’t budge unless high pressure or brushing is used. After i showed the owner she confirmed last company had to brush it.

Ever heard of this with pollen?

btw I used a very soft brush I had on a small area and it looked like new.

I’ve cleaned a lot of wood siding but never had an issue with pollen being hard to get off.
Was it older siding that had a lot of grooves and divots where it was getting in and landing?

Nope. It had 2 year old paint and had an average profile. Blue of course.
I actually had another blue house had the same thing but not as bad.

Almost like static cling and water doesn’t break it.

So did you brush the whole house?

I wonder how hard her water is and if you hit it with 0 PPM TDS content water would it make a difference rinsing the stuck debris off…

Heck no. It’s a large house with dormers 2.5 stories high. Not destroying my shoulders for anywhere near a house wash price.
