Stone surface on building

Hello to all! Looking for some comments and feedback on a job I recently completed. I was asked to prep a cinder block wall building for paint. The front and a portion of one side of the building had various types of stone. I used a normal house wash mix, SH, surfactant and 30 ounces of EBC in a 5 gallon DS container. I also used 5-6% SH mixture in a pump up sprayer. 20 minute dwell time, then went at it with the pressure. It cleaned up pretty good but looking for better method low cost method. Customer didn’t really care about the stone as he wasn’t painting that. I just really wanted to see it cleaned.
Lower half of first picture is clean, top is not.

Keep applying multiple applications every 5-10 minutes or so without rinsing in between. It’ll sometimes take more than one application. Keep going until all the organics are gone. Don’t be afraid to go even stronger than 6% on stone if you’re not getting the desired results. Be careful around windows and trim.

Thanks MG, that makes sense. I used the EBC to help remove the years of exhaust fumes and pollution.
