Please dont take this the wrong way but I do 2 colors both sides and its $300 for 100 signs and stakes. I couldn’t imagine paying 125 for 12 yard signs.
We leave our signs on the job and tell the customer to throw them away after 1 week. At 3 dollars a sign it is not worth coming back out and picking them up. We go thru 600 signs a year.
Where do you get your signs from? I just ordered 100 18" x 24" with one color and was $279 with free shipping. I had to buy the stakes separate which were about $80 for 30". So I’m at $360 with one color. I did put “house washing” on one side and “pressure washing” on the other so that added to the cost. I probably would’ve been at like $320 if both sides were the same.

I’m wondering the same. That seems like a great deals on signs. Cheapest I’ve seen was like $10/sign so far
What does “locally by me” mean? If you mean that you make them yourself, then of course they are going to be cheap. You aren’t comparing apples to apples if you are making them yourself for cheap. I haven’t found anything cheaper than $10 a sign personally. If you’ve got a hookup for cheap that is available to others I would LOVE to know!!!
Mike is correct - the comparison is not apples to apples.
The 1 and 2 color signs in large quantities are screen printed.
The full color, high graphic signs are digitally printed.
Screen printed signs are widely available in the price range mentioned in the replies above. As far as full color signs, including design and stakes and shipping - my pricing is extremely competitive. I’m not involved in the 1&2 color screen printing side of the industry because that’s a diluted market, and usually a price race to the bottom. A 1 or 2 color screen print press can be bought used for under $1000. A 5x10’ flatbed for full color hard substrate direct printing is around $250K.
I can’t say if one type of sign is better than the other. I have my personal opinions, but one may work best for a certain area, another may work best in a different area.
Regarding the ‘Leave Behind’ signs Diamond_Soft_Wash mentioned, that’s sort of what I referring to in my original post regarding a new product offering.
There are size restrictions, but these signs would be perfect to leave after a job and not worry about circling back to pick them up.

No apology needed at all. I’ve been in the printing industry a long time, and I knew immediately we weren’t comparing apples to apples. I’ve done the high volume screen print stuff before, but most guys on the site aren’t at your level, so smaller quantity works better for them.
But again, don’t apologize. I truly value feedback like yours because it’s always good to see other pricing in the marketplace. I’m glad your signs are working well for you. If you ever need any other type of printing or marketing materials, I’d love a chance to look at the job and offer pricing.

That sign looks square! I don’t think it’s 18 x 24.
I just measured it its 19.5x24
I see a need for full color signs on a commercial location. So if we are doing a job that will be more than one day a full color sign by the entrance saying what we are doing would be great. It would be awesome to have one for each service we provide and then have one that says “full exterior cleaning being performed”

Your screen printer does good work. A lot of places can’t handle close trap and registration. Your guys seem to have a good handle on it.

Thanks. I agree on the white border being off. Its annoying but I just need people to see the sign and get the number and call. I also don’t think the customer is looking at the sign the same way we are thankfully.
Yeah I know. I was only kidding. It’s completely irrelevant from a results perspective. I can’t imagine a situation where you’d get 1 more or 1 fewer call based on the border of your sign.
