Stains below shutters

I have to disagree with that statement.

I’ve had the color come off parts of badly oxidized shutters with my mix I even had one change colors from blue to teal. Something to be aware of.

Exactly! Those stains result when shutters are painted with a paint unsuitable for plastic. I employ my WFP and a good sodium hydroxide solution to scrub away those stains. The only cure is to repaint with right paint. Sherwin Williams has an additive that they give with paint when someone asks.

Normal house wash mix and scrubbing with a brush has always worked just fine for me. The paint wasn’t good enough to stick to the shutters and ran off easy. A bit of chemicals and brush should take it off no problem. It takes a couple times of wetting and brushing, but I’ve never not had shutter paint runs not come off.
