Stained cedar shingle siding cleaning help

Homeowner really wanted just the windows and frames and sills cleaned but also I noticed the house could be washed too. I have never washed a house out of this material and can’t even tell if it’s real wood. Felt almost plasticy in a way when I ran my hand across it but I could be wrong. I don’t want to mess yo this place at all. I do have insurance of course but don’t want to file anything. What’s you guys’ thoughts on how to clean this type of house. He has stained wood doors everywhere too and to protect those is the best way to just tarp them. I have reaped them in the past but didn’t know if there was a better way to protect them. Just let me know what to do to get rid of dirt on windows and then to wash the house too if possible. I run a 12 volt softwash system and use xero pure window cleaning system.

Also if the siding can’t be washed what is the best way to clean the windows frames and sills to not mess up the siding of the house. I am hoping to be able to wash both.

Find out if it is this in the photo. If it is, it is Nailite siding- and it will not clean up.

They make both hardie board and vinyl siding that’s realistic looking. You should be able to easily tell if they are and not real wood.
