How long does the spring cleaning bug usually last in your area? I’m assuming it tapers at some measurable point?

Yup same here. We usually book solid right up to July 4th with residential. I try to save some bigger commercial jobs for the summer months so we stay busy and then residential picks up around the 2nd week of August because people want their homes cleaned for Labor day weekend get togethers. From there we go residential/commercial into December.
April, May & June I’m super busy. After that it slows up. End of Sept it picks back up a little
