you are a professional washer?
If it is paint, what kind of paint? Latex, oil, enamel, epoxy, powdercoating? You want to clean overspray off of metal and plastic, you can’t use certain things on certain plastics as they don’t interact well.
With anything we do, test your remover in an inconspicuous area. Most likely you could use a light citric acid and a rag and remove some, a degreaser could remove stuff, denatured alcohol removes stuff, water removes stuff. I’m not recommending anything, because I don’t know what is one there.
As silly as this sounds, did you fire your rig up and spray the stuff first with just plain old hot water? For paint to adhere properly it normally requires a properly prepped surface.
Not trying to be a horses butt, but this seems odd. If you paid them to paint it, they shouldn’t have over sprayed, that is their fault just like if I get overspray on someone’s house when I do their deck. My responsibility to clean it or make it right.
I edited this, then re-edited it as I re-read it and didn’t like it.
Take some quick detailer spray and a clay bar and it’ll come off. If it’s a lot then you might need to use some paint thinner on a rag.
Or take it back and tell them to fix it.
Thinners and a rag, call it a day. This is machinery.
I didn’t pay them to paint the trailer I paid them to do some welding on the trailer. The steel they welded they painted it with black spray paint in a airisol can and they got over spray on my equipment didn’t realize it till I got home
