Spray Lubricants for engine's and O-Rings?

Okay so I have two questions. One is I like to keep my stuff looking pretty clean so I would like to find an aerosol spray lubricant that I could spray my whole g x 630 down with without having to worry about getting the lubricant on the wiring around the ignition? Second question is I know I’ve been told to use silicone spray on all my fittings with O-rings but I’m reading that the spray aerosol cans are not good for o rings because of what used to make them spray. The aerosol cans are very convenient but they safe to use a oil like a dripping oil silicone. So just wondering if they make aerosols that are good for these situations and what some of you guys use

Orings are cheap.
Just clen ur equipment after and in between every job.
Only time to use silicone spray is after u winterize and machine is down for a long period

Isn’t it good practice to spray your connections at the end of the day so they don’t rust. I noticed that if I slack off and don’t spray them they start to get crusty and Rusty in there

Thats tge cleaning i. Between and after every job is for

Yeah I’m a little OCD with that stuff. Was always the same way with my bikes too LOL

I’ve never cleaned a machine but they get rained on a lot. They will last just as long dirty as clean. Don’t spray anything on orings.

Okay sounds good guys thank you. Maybe I will just clean the very top black piece LOL

When I wash the truck I take the wash mitt and hit the black fuel tank on my Honda, but that’s it.

I hit my male fittings with silicone spray, makes them connect a lot easier. Also get some Viton o-rings.

Yeah I got those O-rings still seem to have to replace them every few weeks

Such is life…stuff goes bad, especially cheap stuff.

Yes definitely no problem with replacing O-rings. I just like to keep my stuff looking good I thought there might be something I could spray on the engine now and then keep it looking good. I saw one guy on YouTube spray as his with WD-40 and just wipes it off every now and then.

Super glad to hear this I don’t have time for that lol

The construction guys would be chuckling at this one lol. Just make sure it has clean oil and filters, the rest doesn’t move the needle in any direction for any reason.

Lol. I gotcha!
