Softwashing Houses

If you go a little larger on the rinse (say 0015 and 2515), that’s soft enough in my book but will save you from having to run back to the injector a million times in your lifetime.

Yes and No … You could do that or go biigger on the rinse nozzles like 0020 or 0030 rinse high or 2520 or 2530 rinse low

On my 8pgm I’m going to try 0540 (Like in Michael K’s video) Rinse high and 2540 Rinse Low … that will give me some options … Also, I don’t mind walking to the trailer to pull the soap tube. That along with the high heat and humidity we get here in the summer helps me shed some of my winter pounds I put on

I only use one tip when washing a home. Soap tip that shots straight stream & a fan spray. $8 from PowerWash.com.

John, is that a high/low pressure tip with adjustable fan pattern? Do you have a link for that tip?

It’s strictly low pressure soap tip. Powerwash.com sells it. It’s a black plastic tip. They tend to go bad after a while but it works great when its good. It has a wide fan pattern

So with this tip…you are still walking back to the trailer and pulling the injector to rinse?

Yup. I typically soap two sides walk to the trailer remove hose from bucket, rinse both sides repeat that for the next two sides. Only 2 trips to the trailer instead of 4.

That setup sounds ideal. I would order a 1510 tip too to see if you like the 15degree better than the 25. I would say order an extra set or maybe a J-rod to hold a few spare tips for that day your running behind and leave the other set at a job or someone forgets them In thier pocket after work (and calls in sick the next day). But you will probably be about 800-1300 psi at the nozzle with the pump turned up all the way. At 8- 10 " your way way safe. I even rinse wind chimes with my soft wash tips.
