When adding the connection from water tank to softwash metering valve, I see people connecting it to bottom of the water tank just like the pressure washer and I also see people connecting it with a drop stick like the SH. From experience is one better then the other? Does having it come from the bottom of the tank mess with the ratio because you have all the weight of the water forcing it into the pump?
Draw it from the top of the tank not the bottom. The bottom creates psi which can change the strength that’s pulled through the proportioner system. Different tank sizes and different liquid levels create different psi’s when plumbed from the bottom.
Draw from the top and use the the same length hose for proportioner system

That’s what I was thinking, just needed to know that it wasn’t something that I was just making up in my head.
