Newbie to the non-batch mixing lifestyle here, setting up my new proportioner setup.
My question is, for my surfactant tank, do you dilute the surfactant that gets pulled from that tank? I ask because it’s obviously getting diluted by the proportioner. But, based on the research I’ve done, it sounds like I don’t pull straight surfactant through that line. I normally use elemenator which isn’t super thick but will temporarily be using Xtra laundry detergent as I’m out of elemenator and have a house wash coming up before I can get more.

So you are using a 12v system to softwash buildings?
Some soaps you dilute and others you run straight. You have to see their directions.
While washing houses I run a 15 gal sh bucket and a drop stick to it to pull chem/soap. That is completely a different system than proportioner. I try and keep the proportioner setup the same every time so there’s nothing I’m having to dink around with in terms of surfactants, etc.
A lot of times laundry detergents turn sh into pancake batter quickly which is a pain in the butt and I have gone away from using that stuff even in a pinch because it’s a pain
