Soft Washing in the Wind

So here is my question…

How many of you guys use a yellow noodle when soft washing???

I have been cleaning condos all season without too much trouble using one of Guys Shooter tips for the high stuff,
Yesterday it was really windy and just could not hit the gutter line (50 ft)
I used all the wands I had in the van a 6 ft a 4 ft and a 18 inch all joined together and just got there.

My question is do you carry an extension wand and how often do you use it. Most of these jobs require at least a weeks notice to get the windows closed so re scheduling would cause big problems.

It it a tool in every ones tool box??

Hey Bill…Can’t fight Mother Nature Bro…You’ll either need to ladder up to get closer, lift, or maybe a noodle will work. High wind causes other problems like over-spray flying everywhere…always smart to have a weather disclaimer in your contract.

Glad The “Original Shooter Tip” is working for you!

Thanks Guy,

Its just so frustrating trying to get the windows closed and balconies emptied if the job is not done on the day it could take months to get back to them.
I am slowly trying to get the perfect contract put together.
Do you know if there is a one on here somewhere, I would like to cover all the bases.

Bill

Bill, it’s up to the PM to get notices out about patios & windows…again in the contract…if windows are open we’ll contact the office, if they can’t get them closed…Skipped…same thing with patios…skipped…and no we won’t go back to the skipped ones.

It’s not your fault if someone dropped the ball…nor should it cost you money.

Just saying…
