No I get it I do it this way because this is how I was taught to do it. I deal with the epa on the hazmat side of things on a regular basis. It is no more illegal than the oil you surface clean off a driveway and wash down the drain maybe not you but most I do have a reclaimer but to be honest dont really use it unless it’s a gas station. I would love to see your tech do a 2000 sq drive way in 20 minutes with just water no pre or post treat if that’s true please let me know what you are using because if it’s better I will change my ways this is why I’m here to learn from others.I would bet it would take longer.

Who do you buy sh from at that price and what quantity do you buy it at.I will save 15 cents or better a gallon any day.
Two guys, two 8 gpm machines, one 28” 4 nozzle big guy and and one 18” hammerhead. One guy with just the 18” and 8 gpm averages 2,000 sq’ per hour. Even faster with the 4 nozzle bar in the big guy. My tech knocked out a 1,130 sq’ drive in about 20 mins by himself the other day with it. With the 2 nozzle bar in it, it does slow down slightly.

That oil that may wash off a drive, in my county in GA, is illegal, but so is the silt that washes off it. $2k fine and up to 60 days in jail.

I’m sorry I’m still stuck on this but you apply straight 12.5 to roofs too? I get it, SH is cheap, but why?
Sucks, but I understand it. My local bmp’s were literally written by the PWNA/UAMCC, but that’s a different discussion for another day…

I buy from Han Chem in Georgia. They supply all the vendors around me. It’s even cheaper if you buy 200 gallons.
Why not I have never gone back and touched up anything we do cheat the roof mix a little cant lie about that one but to be honest I just dont care about the cost of sh at the end of the day it cheap I charge a premium and move on. In the grand scheme of things a extra 20 bucks in sh per roof doesn’t break the bank and if it did I would sell all my equipment. Not telling you to do that you do what works for you but if you wash 3- 4 roofs a day it really dont matter. But keep in mind I have another job I’m a full time fireman so all this money is just extra for me

They come up if you google Han Chem. Don’t believe they ship sh that far though. Best part is that it’s always fresh. As in dang near 15% fresh. About 14.5% to be exact, though on paper it’s 12.5 for legal reasons.
I will check them out and see I dont mind buying the quantity do they off load it in your drums
I make the 15 min drive to them, but if you buy more than 200 gallons, they deliver. Cost a lil more for delivery, but not by much. They put it in whatever you bring, or have sitting at a delivery location.
