Soft wash spots/stains

I had a soft wash cleaning for the first time, and also included cement patio and driveway. Everything looks brand new again, . . .except two areas. I’m not sure of the exact type of siding and perhaps the picture is not clear enough to determine.

I am hoping I can find a color match to cover to this to avoid a whole house repaint, or is there any other options to correct or reverse this.

As I mentioned this is the first time for a 10+ year old house, and except for these areas everything is beautiful.

!

Looks like hardi board, hardi plank siding. Fiber cement siding. Invented by James Hardie.

Thank you. I will search through site regarding hardi plank. Meanwhile, any ideas on correcting this problem?

Just was some discussion about it here. Ugliest siding I have seen yet

Ok. So it looks like I’m toast . Time to look for a painter.

Thanks for the info.

Just pull the bottom piece of siding, take it to get it matched and paint it.

Haha! Yea, I kinda figured that was coming when I saw it. I started to tag you first. Haha

lol ya, some people will wash it for years with no problems. Who knows

Wow, that sounds like a great plan! Thank you!

Are you sure that’s something you did. Not sure what you could have done that would have caused that. What have you tried? Put some degreaser on a rag and wipe it and see if it has any effect. Looks like some type of oil based product.

OK, I will check that. Because the rest of the house looks great, so not sure why this happened in this area.

Did you not see it as your were washing it? I think it’s a pre-existing condition.

No, this is right along walk to front door, so it was not there. Or if so, it would have to have been much, much lighter for me to never notice it, and the cleaners made it deepen or reveal the stain. But I really believe it was never there. Would have been kind of hard not to notice it right between walkway and garage.

But I will try the wipe to see if it helps.
