Soft Wash Soap

So I have a recipe for a degreaser that’s so strong that you only have to wave the bottle and the grease starts running.I call it Dynamite. Works really good, packs a punch and is fairly dangerous: Equal parts Slo Mo, Sodium Hydroxide, and Water, mixed carefully in reverse order, with gloves and glasses, turns into a gel that will stick to any surface. Need to keep it wet? Cover it with plastic wrap and it’ll just keep on working. I’ll soon try Dynamite as a stripper and see how well it melts paint with a cheap tarp to keep it wet overnight.

Landa sells a degreaser called Dynamite. I used it to remove cow dander from steel I beams in a cow barn at NC State

I’ve been told that there are no original ideas. This proves it! I just hope there aren’t any trademark infringements .

I have a question that I can’t seem to find a good answer on. Aside from a degreaser, are there any actual soaps, that aren’t designed to just aid sh, but to actually work as a stand alone general cleaner to downstream?

I was wondering that myself, last year I had to wash a couple houses that were simply dirty from local construction. I just used some Snotmenade and downstreamed it, got the dirt off.

@dcbrock @Seandz I use a product called nerta it’s a soap designed for touchless truck washing and vehicles, I downstream it on construction cleanups works amazing. Dirt and crap just melts off.

Nerta is entry level truck soap, If you want the good Stuff ?Hydrochem systems.
There are few SH slingers on here that know the benefits of incorporating high PH heavy duty Machinery Soap and degreasers when needed. Most rely on home Depot or Lowe’s watered down junk because its easily available I’m guessing.

Ain’t Nerta made over on your side of the pond ?

@MuscleMyHustle and @Hotshot good to know thanks! Do you guys know if either of the products you recommend are safe for all surfaces in general house wash? Or would I need to be careful on any particular type of finish? I know automotive paint is incredibly durable and can handle more than house paint…

I’m sure @MuscleMyHustle does, I’ve never washed a house, I do know ppl on here are using power solve for a number of things.

@Hotshot it’s produced in Belgium, its a very good soap

I’m not knocking it to bad, It just took alot more nerta to get the same results my soaps achieve. Nerta is a decent soap, just not cost effective as Hydrochem.

@Seandz absolutely safe on houses when you use the right product (they make many), it has no ill effects on, glass, aluminium, Oxidation etc

@Seandz citrus house wash is pretty safe

Well there you have it! Your boy at hydrochem sent me an email about powersolve too for the other winery job I’m bidding on. I think I’ll order some to try it out. I’ll probably order some Nerta too just to have both, I love testing stuff. I bought some of especs f9 with the detonator for house washing last spring when I first started softwashing. It worked but I had a pile of powder in the bottom of the 5gal bucket (probably because I had no clue what I was doing and should of mixed it with hot water to dissolve better lol). I also bought greenwash shortly thereafter and started using that because it was liquid and so much more concentrated/easier to work with and forgot all about the f9. Pretty sure it’s sitting in a box on the side of the house, most likely wet now lol. Have you ever used their f9? I guess it’s supposed to be a truck wash but can be used with detonator for houses. Now I’m wondering if it’s like a soap and surfactant both in one. Smelled like cheap perfume.

Never used F9 , we use 4 different kinds of acids ,Hf to ABF and all in between, 4 different kinds of soaps. But we buy all from Hydrochem now, except my HF I have to go get it in Louisiana and he gets me to try his new elixirs, I do love trying new stuff, but it’s a PITA to go from one different soap to another. Gotta change the whole ratio set up around.

There is a gate at the border you must be vetted before coming in from Arkansassy! :joy::joy:. Where do you go to get your super secret rubber scrubber formula? :joy:
