Soft wash Not shooting far/pulsing

Hi all, so my soft wash pump/system is crap lol. I am running 300’ 1/2"ID, Home made built proportioner and a Jrod with matching tips plus the hand gun shown below with EverFlo 7gpm 60PSI pump . The pump sounds like it is pulsing? I did adjust the screw and it got me these results here. We thoug

ht to get accumulator or 5/8 hose but will that make that much of an difference? I think we need more pressure… I am about to just buy a gas one at this point.

PS It wont allow me to attach the video; Does it have to be a certain file type?

Thanks in advance

First, you’ve got the wrong gun for that small a pump. You’re not getting any pressure. You might as well be holding your finger over an open hose. Same gun as I use with my gas system .

2nd - 300 ft of hose is a lot to use. I’d cut about 50’ off of or even a 100’ depending what your average need is. 200’ is plenty for most, though because I do a lot of larger properties, I prefer about 250. But you can always put some fittings on the 100’ you cut off and carry with you if more than 200 needed. A simple softwash nozzle with a jrod would give you more distance than that one.

Thank you for the fast response time! I will check this out. I know we were going to cut some off just have done it yet I assumed the problem is not that. I will get back to you on an update.

I will cut the hose our jrod actually broke. What would you recommend doing? Saving the electric for a back up and buying gas or getting the first nozzle shown? Below are the jrod tips if im not mistaken.

The video showed you 5-6 different nozzles. Get whichever ones you like. I have no idea what mine are. Bought over 10 years ago, and still using, when I use, which is pretty rare.
