A customer of mine wants to remove the green from the joists under his deck. The wood is in great shape and has no other stains so I figure I’d go easy on it and use percarbonate. Will the foaming action allow it to stick to the vertical faces of the joists or can I/should I add some surfactant to it?
Add a few squirts of Dawn to your percarb and apply with pumpup sprayer using a little more than a mist. Fewer light coatings are better than a jet stream. Less waste and does the job.
Great. I didn’t know if adding soap to the Percarbonate would effect it’s cleaning ability.
