Soap recommendations for dirt

I have a house coming up that just needs rinsing, and has a mild layer of construction dirt/dust from houses going up in the neighborhood. Any suggestions for soap to add for downstreaming? No bleach is needed.

Then neither is soap. Soap is just for hang time and dwell and breaking surface tension of stickier stuff than dirt.

If you want just put a cap of your surfactant in a 5 gallon bucket of water. But then you have to rinse soap off something that just needed a rinse to start with.

Ok. But isn’t it common knowledge ‘soap’ removes dirt better than water alone? That’s what mamma always told me.

Soap suspends oil/dirt so it can be washed away easily

Just use your normal surfactant…eliminator or whatever you use…but mix it same ratio as you would with bleach but substitute with water.

10 gallons water - 5 ounces surfactant

Or just tell the customer to wait for the rain. Lol.

This is a weird one. It’s a new ‘pre planned’ community with high end houses slammed together like sardines. I honestly don’t know why she wants it ‘washed’ as there isn’t much dirt, but so be it.

That is true, HOWEVER, soap also helps it release from the surface; which allows it to be suspended.

Personally @dcbrock I’d do as they say and put your normal surfactant like you would for a SH job, however, I’d also add in some hard surface cleaners like sodium metasilicate/TSP/Sodium Citrate. Those are generally found in degreasers and hard surface cleaners.

I think this is painted Hardie board or similar. Here’s a pic of the typical house.
