Soaking It All Up (Quick Questions Though)

Yes, I was the sacrificial lamb to ask all the dumb questions! You’re welcome! lol

If you stick around, you’ll find that everyone is very helpful. They do like to know you’ve done some research on the forum and don’t just treat them as your personal google. Everyone can see how much time you’ve spent on the forum so as that number goes up, it seems they appreciate you’re putting in the time to read and learn.

And now the most important question, @TriVocus, Cards or Cubs?

Haha! Much appreciated, lamb.

And, oh, easy question. Cards all the way! Born and (mostly) raised right outside of STL. Been going to games since I was a baby.

Sweet! Then we can be friends! jk

Actually, I’m taking my oldest son to the game tomorrow. We didn’t go to a game all year and I promised him about a month ago that if the Cardinals made it to the playoffs, we’d go to a game.

If I lived that close to a border I’d get the heck out of this awful state.

Use the search bar here and you can find his number lol.

Oh, man. That’s funny.

@Innocentbystander I emailed and got a quote for 200ft. They wanted $100 to ship. That is higher than I would’ve expected.

The pricing for the hose is great. But the shipping might kill it since it’s a small order.

Ok. I’ve got two pallets this year. I might drive up and get it next year if to her can’t give me a good price on shipping for 20 rolls.

I just saw the bottom of the flyer they sent me for the specs on the hose.
They have locations in NY, NC, ND, TX, and MO.

Score for me! They’re about 40 minutes away. It looks like they carry a ton of different hose brands.

@AquaTeamPowerWash might be interested as it’s close for him as well.

Thanks for helping me, @Innocentbystander.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and @TriVocus and @marinegrunt might benefit, too. Can’t remember how close marinegrunt is.

Thanks Mike. I’m up between Peoria and Bloomington so not too far. My in-laws live in Kentucky and father-in-law goes to St. Louis about once a month so can always have him pick it up for me if I don’t feel like road tripping. I drove to Perryville to buy my trailer. I paid more than half the price for a dual axle trailer with brakes than what it would’ve cost me up here.

Nice! I love deals!

I’ve been looking for deals on guys selling their rigs now that the season is wrapping up. It’s hard to know what exactly I’m looking at. So I might rely on some of you guys for advice if I find one that might work.

I’m going to call JGB tomorrow and ask about their prices. I hope it’s the same I was quoted for the NY branch. I also saw they had the Goodyear Neptune and it seems people really like that brand. So I’m going to at least see what their price is on that.

I bought from them this last go around its a decent hose for the price but its just a little thinner than the others I’ve bought. Not sure if I’ll buy from them again unless I go up on the wire.

@Innocentbystander just double-checking this is the hose you recommend.

Yep. Make sure to get the gray. Even though it’s labeled as non-marking, the blue will leave chalky marks after the first week of use.

Yes, they will make any length you want

Thank you @Infinity and @Innocentbystander!

225’ is the perfect length. I think my order came to right around $260 after shipping. But I’m in the next state over from them. Shipping elsewhere is probably more.

What a day. Had everything set-up and ready to go on a house wash. Turned pw switch to on. Pulled the cord and the cord broke. And it broke far enough up that I couldn’t use what was left to start it.

Then after fixing that, I didn’t put the gx390 assembly back tight enough with the bolt so when I turned off the pw to switch from my surface cleaner to my wand, it wouldn’t engage the engine for it to turn over. So I had to retake everything apart, as the recently cleaned but yet to be rinsed patio dried.
