Slo Mo mixing

I just heard about Slo Mo last fall from @Racer and picked some up for doing roofs. I’m playing around with the overall amount to add to my batch mix tank of 65 gallons. I had approximately 6 ounces and had mixed 2 ounces at a time with water in a gallon jug and shook it well before pouring it into my tank plus stirred the whole batch with my drop tube. The overall mixture didn’t seem thick enough as I applied it to the roof I did today. I am wondering if anyone else uses this and batch mixes and how you mix it? I am contemplating a paddle type mixer. In the past, I have used Cling On and had pretty good luck but wanted something that sticks better. I use a Gen III system that is 7gpm. When I called the vender to ask about it I was told that it is because of the volume of the pump that it isn’t getting very sudsy.

Sorry, wasn’t me so I couldn’t help you. I’m a Snotmenade guy, but know they’re several on here that use.

@Firefighter4hire … your assistance is requested fine sir.

I’m using 12.8 oz per gallon. I mix 64oz with 5 gallons at a time in my soap tank and use a proportioner.

You had merely mentioned it in a post I made about a large dirty roof I was looking into. “Better get some slo-mo or triple up on your roof snot with that pitch and that dirty.” You didn’t go into detail. It was the first I had heard of Slo Mo, so I looked into it. It seemed like a great choice from what I have read. I’ll keep playing around with it and try to get the right amount to slow things down

What do you want to know

:man_shrugging:, @Cougar_Bait is asking, I’m a damn rubber scrubber @Firefighter4hire

So I ran a 35 gallon batch tank on a 5.5 gpm 12v. I added 8 ounces to my batch tank.im playing with the hydromixer now. I really love that thing

When you added the 8 ounces to your batch tank, what did you do to mix it up? Simply stir it? The stuff is so thick out of the bucket that I’m wondering if I just didn’t get it mixed up (see my original post) enough as my solution on a roof wasn’t that “sticky”. I am thinking about trying a paddle mixer that I can attach to a drill.

I have a paddle mixer on a 18v drill.Hot water really helps

Do you mix slo-mo into water and then dump into mix tank?

I use SloMo almost exclusively now for roofs and house washes. I batch mix 35 gal with 8-10 oz. Add soap, add bleach, add water with 7gpm 12 volt. It mixes fine while adding the bleach and water.

For the record, I really liked elemonator on housewashes as Slo Mo requires a lot of rinsing on glass.

Where are you buying Slo Mo? I can’t find it anywhere online, is it still being made?

You’re awesome, thank you!
