Shamblin Softwash Sauce

You guys ever heard of this malarkey? If you look at the SDS there’s no composition. So basically water.

Even vinegar’s SDS has a composition, but you’ve got guys saying there’s no dwell time, it’s magic, pays off student loan debt.

Anyone here ever use it?? I’d like to hear from anyone here that’s used it before I throw it in the never-ever bin with anything AC allows to be printed with his hallowed “AdjectiveVerb”.

I’ve wondered about that. Appears to just be a plain degreaser/soap. Can’t be better than purple power. At least that has sodium hydroxide and sodium metasilicate.

Same company’s extreme duty degreaser is just a sodium hydroxide mix. I can get that brown stuff from a local chem company for about $8 a gallon.

Wet it and forget it!

Took much longer than good ole’ SH. I would have to pass on that product

Is it me or did he apply solution babout 4x?!

Website claims it’s just a non-caustic degreaser and a, wait for it, “chlorine enhancer” lol! Think that’s code for snake oil.

Agreed. And I tried asking the guy who sells it and he says he only puts what’s legal on the SDS so it can’t be copied… and he’s in California. The stuff is water.

Just popped up this morning.

So he said the SDS is inaccurate?!

Lol. Yeah that’s the post I saw. On polished factory floors you can knock that out with purple power for $15 for a fiver. This guy wants $122.

I was surprised someone “experienced” who cleans cooling towers wasn’t reclaiming or at least diverting that water. It sits stagnant for a WHILE even in time lapse lol

I can get bulk automatic carwash soap in powder form for dirt cheap from my local chem company. Bet it cuts through grease pretty good. Maybe I should get some and see if AC would grant me his blessing to name it Red Beard’s Softwash Sauce.
