SH ratios for DSI

3 great links an all i had to do was click on the magnifying glass and type “downstreaming driveway”

People on here are all pretty much professionals so you are expected to do the legwork yourself, and if you need further clarification, then ask. To be spoonfed answers is not good for you in the long run.

So you could say something like “in this thread, i had a question about how _____ was actually done. I have tried such and such but am still confused about this. Could someone elaborate on that method?”

As opposed to just getting on and blurting the first question that comes to mind without actually researching.

Ill tell you my 2 cents because im a softie. First, you need to figure out if youre legitimately pulling at a 10:1 ratio because thats just a number on a paper until youve proven it through your system. To do that, do a bucket test. If you ask what a bucket test is without searching for it im gonna brain ya! :stuck_out_tongue:

Then youll get your actual ratio and be able to figure out what youre really pulling. I know a lot of people that DS onto a driveway as well and it comes down to how gross the driveway is. I personally hit driveways with a 2.88% ish mix because thats convenient for me to do with my xjet.

Try DSing a driveway and see how it works for you. If it doesnt work, back to the drawing board and raise your SH to 2-4% and see how it works for you. An easy way to do that without spending a lot of money is to buy a pump sprayer and while not ideal, old faithful will be there to help you out whenever you need hotter mixes.

Welcome to the forum. I say this with all respect but try not to ask a bunch of dumb questions, so that when youre REALLY stuck on a tough issue, youll have people there and willing to help you with their expertise. This forum here is literally the best dang informational forum ive found on the internet about its subject. The amount of knowledge in here and freely given is mind boggling if you only search for it.
