Yeah, what qons said. I like it when someone is honest and admits they messed up. I like it more when they rectify it. Besides, your in california, plants are supposed to be everywhere like some kind of super expensive paradise. :smiley:

In the future you may be able to use a plant flushing agent. They are specifically formulated to flush salts from soils. If the plant is wilted its to late but if its slowly turning brown you may have a chance to save it. This is what I used when I had to much buildup.

Its sort of expensive but depending on what is damaged it may be cheaper to try it than replacing a Japanese maple or some other high dollar plant or tree. I would only use it on something that is expensive to replace and can be easily affected by overwatering. You will be able to pick up any flushing agent at your local grow store.

I have replaced plants or deduct some money from the bill but have never changed soil before, you may want to use a bleach neutralizer after house wash but that would need to be done the day of wash.

Everything is stupid expensive here. But no humidity so it’s worth it lol
