SH draw question

Hey all, so i did a draw test using my soap nozzle
My machine is 15lpm set to 2500psi.
I drew 1.3 litres and ended up with 17.5 liters in my bucket giving me roughly 1.3 to 16.2 ratio
Am i right in thinking even if i draw straight 12.5 percent SH it will always be so weak its usable?
Is my only option a x jet or wash down gun?
Or should i say is there a cheaper option?
I didnt try and find the answer to this before posting

Thanks bran

Its just my experience but doing 1:10 I usually cut my housewash mix 50/50 with water/SH and if I need it a little stronger I’ll throttle the machine down a little which kicks the draw ratio up in your favor. I’ve cleaned some nasty stuff with just downstreaming that 6% house wash mix though (.5% ish at gun), dwell time and a second coat are the tools I lean on rather than trying to up the strength of the mix.

what’s your machine and whats the injector orifice and how many feet of hose are you running?

15lpm 4000psi but ive reduced it to 2500 psi.
Im not sure what the injector orifice is. Im a complete newbie but i seems i need more like a 10:1 so if I draw straight 12.5% ill be spraying 1.25 which from what i read is good for pre treating a concrete drive.

Yeah I think you definitely want 10:1. What injector do you use? I am using the GP 100950 Fixed Chemical Injector (High Draw - Acid Kit) - 5.0 to 8.0 gpm - its 2.1mm orifice with 5.5GPM and 200’ of 3/8" hose. It works great. I’m not sure you necessarily need to downstream straight SH, I had been pre-treating driveways and cleaning houses with downstreamed straight SH and it was working great then I switched things around on my truck and I have a dedicated house wash tank I downstream from and I’ve been keeping it around 50/50 (+a little surfactant) and it still works great…maybe I intuitively apply a little thicker coat on so the total SH comes up a little more with the 50/50 but I prefer to have the mix pretty dilute because then when I downstream around plants or whatever I don’t really want SH on its easier/safer to rinse off. I post treat with that mix too and it works really good.
