I searched a lot first and saw most say to use normal house wash mix, but how hot can you go with a painted deck safely? It’s paint, not solid stain. It’s got a lot of green to it, so I was wondering if going 2-2.5% was ok, or should you stick to around 1%?
A house wash mix will work fine on a painted deck, it’s the same as a painted wooden house. Being mostly flat spray it on and let the chem sit there and eat up the green. Always have a reason to use stronger ratios.

I agee with Muscle. If you use too strong of a mix and, there are any cracks or pinholes in the paint, it’ll get up underneath and the SH will cause more of it to lift off. When washing painted surfaces the less SH the better.
