SH and aluminum...clean up

So not Fleet Washing per se, but it does pertain to cleaning up my fleet… We use our newest truck as a showpiece at marketing events in the spring. Last year it was literally new, but this year has a year’s worth of SH spots on the aluminum skid and toolboxes. I’m planning on hitting it with an aluminum brightener off Amazon next week to shine it up for the first show, but figured I’d ask if any of the 2-steppers or other guys had any recommendations first. I’m thinking I have so many products in the shop now, some of which we never use, that might already fit the bill…I, however, am not a chemist. Ideas?

If it were mine, I’d head down to the auto parts store & grab a jar of Mother’s aluminum polish. Smear it on & polish it off with a cloth. It’s good stuff.

Pretty small container…what sort of coverage might one expect to get from that thing?

Several wheels. Wheels. Not cheese wheels, but that would be pretty awesome.

Yeah, I couldn’t care less about wheels…I’m talking an 8’ skid and the associated mounted tool boxes…like 50-60sf of aluminum

@Hotshot maybe you can help him out

Id go to Napa or a farm store for your aluminum brightener. The good stuff you’d have to order , for a small batch I recommend any products from KO manufacturing, they have good chems.
You lived closer I’d give you a gallon. Most stuff you will find id poly spray it at 80% then let dwell for about a minute then rinse. Grab a couple gallons, expect to pay $15/$20 a gallon. I can ship you a 6 gallon concentrate that makes 55 gallons but im assuming you dont need that lol.
