OK got to remember to do that. Thinking about getting a larger tank and building an 8GPM in there. Thanks for the heads up.
Just want to point out that I use a buffer tank w/the 4GPM. Itâs due to low water flow in my area. My understanding of the mechanics is that without a buffer you either have to stay on the trigger to avoid building too much pressure and damage the pump or use an unloader and let the water go out onto the ground via hose outlet. @TexasPressureWashing
Yes an unloader allows you to be off the trigger without overheating your pump. It happens very quickly with no water flow.
I mean you can use an unloader to the ground but most people recycle it to the buffer tank. If you have a direct drive 4GPM it wonât pull water efficiently from a tank so to the ground might be the better option for a person whose direct drive wonât pull water from a buffer tank.
Some direct drive tanks will pull water. It depends on the vibration of the pump.
Lastly you wonât build up too much pressure and damage the pump. The damage comes from overheating due to water not flowing through the pump cooling it.
Typically, we run the water hose into the oil fil, or pull the dipstick and run water thru it. remove the the oil plug and screw pressure hose into opening. Larger the Honda, more pressure.
He can listen to a guy that wears overalls and drinks cheerwine or some guy in Texas that wears orange glasses Iâm not saying whoâs right or wrong just decisions in life that have to be made
Weâll listen to the guy whos not fishing
