SEO/Google Local Map Pack Ranking Question

Hey guys, I am new and getting into the industry and as I was starting my marketing I found Google Guarantee doesn’t cover pressure washing but throws keywords for it into the window cleaning category.

I was planning to add window cleaning down the line to give myself a reason to engage more often with the customer and build relations. but given this information would it be advised to add it in early?

I just see that depending the device used and on how the search is made it can be a pretty big advantage to be in that list over just the local map pack.

I am hoping to get some feedback from people who have been around a while and if/how it might have affected their business. Currently I am looking to do mostly House washing, gutter cleaning, roof cleaning, and concrete cleaning.

I don’t want to take any oddball routes like adding it as a service and overcharging on that service so I don’t have to do it or anything like that. I know firsthand its a skillset to acquire to do it efficiently and not leave streaks as my brother owns an exclusively window cleaning business in another state but I’d like feedback from members here who carry multiple services and have that perspective.

You guys are great and I have learned a lot here, any insights would be incredibly helpful!

What market are you in? GG definitely covers pressure washing, at least in my area.

That being said, window cleaning and pressure washing go hand in hand. If you’re not offering exterior window cleaning, you are leaving a lot of money on the table.

Do you offer just exterior window cleaning as an add on? Or interior as well? Thanks for the knowledge!

I am in the Charlotte, NC area. Lots of activity here but also a fairly competitive market. I noticed when searching power/pressure washing on mobile it leans heavily into window cleaning. I know adding the service probably wouldn’t break the bank but I was hoping to avoid having to enter the people’s home if possible. It’s definitely something I planned to do longer term for sure but I was hoping to get a few things I do great and then add services slowly after doing the research and learning from the right people so I don’t interrupt my overall quality of service that I give my customers.
