Schertz Box still around?

Hey! My beloved Schertz Box makes clicks but the actuator doesnt complete the rotation. Time for a new one?

I looked around the net for his stuff, but couldn’t find it. I found some that looked identical to his, so maybe he sold out to them? I don’t know, just guessing. I hope you enjoyed that box cause the new ones are pricey.

If Chris isn’t still around, I’d recommend the FlowPro.solutions remote. Jud was super helpful when I had to replace my actuator last year on the older model I have. (That was my first repair in about 4 years of outdoor use - I believe it was still on the original ball valve!)

I was going to go with thingamajig, but actuator sounds better. My equipment gets some long hard looks sometimes. I figure that doohickey there ain’t working right.

Is the OEM part number not on the valve? Just go online and buy that part. It’s not like Schertz invented and makes his own electric ball valve

I’ve got one (whole box) laying around I’ll sell cheap. It was working fine, last time I used a couple of years ago. But I’d sent one of my others back to Chris and he’d kept a year w/o fixing, so I just put a flow pro on when I did a new build. I can’t bet my life that I can still lay my hands on the remotes so you’d have to set the switches to match yours.
