Hey guys, just checking in to see what gear everyone is using for safety during a roof clean. Is there anything about your fall protection that makes it better? What I am currently using has a sown in portion near the harness attachment that splits if someone were to fall. Takes most of the force of the jerk to make the fall a little more subtle.

Just basic harness and lead setup. Luckily, mostly just do moss roofs so the problem areas are North and West, and almost everyone has a deck or patio on the east or South to tie off to.
But the last two I did from ladder at gutter line turned out well, trying to stay off the roof if possible now. Have no problem with Heights from doing windows, but I tweaked my knee on a roof a month back and it’s giving out a bit. No sense risking it if, if I don’t have to.
