Running SH through pressure washer

You can leave it on during the job, since with your setup you’ll have to turn the machine off to remove it and reconnect the hose.

But if you are doing a long spell without needing to downstream, or need some extra psi, then it should only take 30 seconds to remove it.

@PDXDavis i believe I’ll be pulling a 6:1. I did the 1 minute bucket test. You can see my results into response to @qons

Your math is weird and wrong. If you sprayed a total of 5 gallons, and your injector pulled a half gallon, then your ratio is 9:1

Also how did you spray 5 gallons in one minute with a 3gpm machine

@Jake_Lambert I did use the soup tip so I’m not sure why it pulled almost 5 gallon in a minute. Im sure I did something wrong then. I put my soup tip on my wand. On my bucket I did 1 gallon of water and it sucked out .5 five. In 1 minute my other bucket it about 4-5 gallon. I’ll redo it again.

That soup tip is a mysterious tip. Professional contractors use a chili tip.

Up to you. There’s an easier way to do this: measure out a half gallon and put your injector in it. Spray until the half gallon is empty, stop, and measure the total amount that you sprayed.

If you have a total of 5 gallons, that makes 10 half gallons. Since one of those half gallons is the one your injector pulled, you have 9 parts water to 1 part SH.

If your total is 4 gallons, then that’s 7:1 (8 half gallons total)

3 gallons would be 5:1

 I racked my brains for 10 minutes to try and come up with a soup pun. Something something house wash, etc. Couldn’t make it happen

@Jake_Lambert going to do what you said

@Lake_Jambert if your still on the forum, please explain your process, these guys are confused. Thanks buddy.

@Jake_Lambert just did what you said. Did half gallon water and got a total of 5 gallons. I have 9:1 then.
