Roof Washing tips and tricks

Hey thanks for taking the time out of your life to help. People like you give me inspiration to continue moving forward. Nothing will stop me. Hey I struggled in school myself, not the smartest guy but yes I do have some common sense. Be safe and again thanks for everything.

I’ll be honest with you, as many nasty roofs I see in my area, I’m in NO position to start such a venture. Softwashing, window cleaning, screen repair and surface cleaning are just about all my mind can take, and from what I’ve read on here roof washing is no joke. It looks simple but I tried a tiny section at a customer’s house and frankly it scared me as you are putting 3-4% directly on someone’s property, hoping it doesn’t kill their prize roses and streak the painted aluminum flashing, etc.

It’s tempting though.

Yeah it’s a bit frightening for sure. It’s one thing 2 attempt it with a house that has no plants shrubs bushes grass even. But to do this on a home that’s over half a million dollars to $1000000 plus with all types of beautiful landscaping in grass seems very risky. Hey that’s why I’m on here to try to learn as much as I can.

See that comes off as “I don’t have time to learn the craft. I don’t have time to learn how to fix my tools when they break.” The easy way? The easy way is to do it right.

What he’s saying is that you’re implying your time is more valuable than ours, who are working 80-90 hours per week, because you don’t want to take 2 hours to read and rather us to just tell you when it’s already been told numerous times.

If you have specific question, once you’ve read, you’ll get plenty of help. We tend to help those who’ve helped themselves first.

here is a tip. Don’t spray yourself in the face with bleach. It hurts…There I contributed to the thread.

Why would you remove all your posts content?

@mods or admins would it be possible to remove the “edit” function after a couple of hours for a post that has been posted?

He’s upset at the responses to his posts.
