How close does the chemical tank have to be to the bandit? Putting trailer together and looking for a place to put 55 gallon tank on rear of trailer so i dont have to much tongue weight. The bandit would be about 10 feet from tank. Is that to Far?
you should be fine at 10 feet… I think that system comes with a 12’ inlet hose? And I would assume that they are on the same surface so its not drawing vertical? You can always test it with water before you bolt anything down to be %100 sure…
Check with Bob I know he doesn’t recommend adding any more length to the hose. You are going to have 3 feet or so in the tank. I don’t recommend your tank on the back of the trailer. Over the wheels or towards the front is where you want it. 55 gals full is over 500 pounds.
yeah I didn’t thoroughly read that post, if you have the 55 gallon drum on the back, the trailer will swerve back and fourth down the road… Center over the axle or a little forward as mentioned above…
