So very true. The lines in the sand are so very deep. When where done here it’s all going to go for naught anyway because according to some of these emails the whole thing is canceled…but then again you never know.
Allison, maybe I’m missing something here but how could the term “Membership” or better yet the full term used no less than 3 times “Your Membership” explain Roberts actions? Or is this an explanation of the misunderstanding between you and Mrs. Voss when you were confirming Roberts story?
Wouldn’t emailing Mr. Boon or Mrs. Voss asking for clarification answer questions a whole lot quicker.
Since you’re in contact with Robert, did you ask him point blank if he misrepresented himself or was not truthful in this situation?
I guess there will be another little footnote changing several years, to 2010, to last year.

I am just trying to show that this may be an area of miscommunication between Robert and Mr. Boon and Jenna Voss – and that there may be other breakdowns in communication as well. It also may have been an area of miscommunication between Jenna Voss and me.
Yes, I asked Robert if he lied to me, and he said no. Is he intentionally lying to me now? I don’t know. He could be, or it could even be that what he believed to be true and what is actually true may be different because of breakdowns in communication. Again, I don’t know. Did Richard Boon work with Robert Hinderliter, then change his mind about the project? I don’t know that either. I do know that this email today showed that Richard Boon knew of the document in question, approved of it being shared-- at least somewhere . They knew the OC logo was on it (Jenna sent the laid out document to Robert) and they expected to get feedback on it. This is different from the recent claims that use of the OC logo was not authorized, that the documents weren’t supposed to be posted anywhere, and that they were not accepting feedback.
I received this tonight and haven’t been able to contact the OC yet. I will email them but frankly, I don’t know that I trust that the answers given now will reflect what was initially discussed. So I am still waiting to get all the information I can through the FOIA.
Again, no matter what, the end result is the same. No workshop. No changes in the BMPs.
That’s the part that’s most disturbing. OC reached out to this Industry to help with their workshop and this Industry goes and shoots itself in the foot. I don’t think some of these guys realize how this small opportunity could have branched outwards and it really had nothing to do with the BMP’s.
That answers my second question - thank you Allison for clearing this part up.
Let me clarify this. From what I can tell from the email forwarded to me, Jenna says please see the attached. The laid out document is the only file that is attached in the email I received. I’m not saying she wrote or laid it out. That I don’t know yet. (I am looking into it.) Only that it appears from the email that she had at least seen the document.
