What is a good chemical to use on aluminum siding? I’ve been seeing outdoor Clorox lately, would this get the job done

I can’t tell if this is a joke troll or not, so…use SH like we do on just about everything (always testing in an inconspicuous place if unsure). Outdoor clorox is probably overpriced SH, I’m not going to bother looking up the SDS. If it isn’t SH it’s quats. The usual problem that people have with aluminum siding is that it is painted and the paint is oxidized or so thin you will leave bare metal.

I’ve always wondered the difference between indoor and outdoor bleach…

got curious, mainly because I am bored and procrastinating on doing a job in the attic. Just a smidge more than Sh, but nothing you couldn’t do yourself.

Outdoor is typically a higher concentrate (7.5% vs 5%) and usually contains surfactents and Sodium Hydroxide.

Thanks for the input on outdoor clorox bleach, the link that was left was pretty informational. Still waiting to here from the customer on if and when they want me to do the job. I’ll try to leave an updated if and when it happens.
