I was asked today by my department head if I knew how to remove concrete from asphalt. Supposedly, there was a pool installation company that contracted a cement truck in one of our subdivisions. Said cement truck/pool company somehow spilt a decent amount of concrete onto the asphalt road and it looks like someone tried to wash it off or scoop it off with a flat shovel. I have yet to see this mess in-person, but I’ve been told it looks like a layer of paint over the asphalt that covers a 25-30ft area. It’s been this way for about 5 weeks I’ve been told. My boss doesn’t seem interested in chasing down info to find the contractors responsible for making the mess, but wants a resolution so that we can address it. He didn’t like my suggestion of black paint. Or to just parallel park a few cars over it.
Most people think a good pressure washing can remedy anything… We had a call to remove gunite from siding, glass & metal roof. We told them the company that over sprayed it there… is responsible for removal. She replied, they will pay for the clean up, we just need it done ASAP.
Some will pass on mistakes for others to be responsible for…
if its a thin layer, maybe some NMD80?
