Removing adhesive from tennis courts

Hello All,
Hope everyone is well. I had a customer call the other day with a request that we haven’t dealt with before. He is over a local club that has a tennis facility. He had let people play pickleball on the 3 hardcourts. A pickleball court is 1/2 the size of the tennis courts. So in order to have the boundaries for pickleball they duct taped the lines. When they pulled up the duct tape to get the courts ready for the local high schools it left the adhesive on the surface. He wants to know if we can get the adhesive off without damaging the courts. Any adivice on thsi matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

there’s tons of adhesive removal products. but you’ll have to do a test first.
I’ve seen a guy use tiki torch fuel on cheap spray painted metal and it worked well. without paint removal. and, it was on duct tape adhesive… rinse well with warm water and detergent. hiepfully someone has a shoein suggestion for you.

Yikes. Maybe he can get a light floor sander and lightly rub it off? Chemicals and pressure… not sure if that would be any better tbh. It’s going to Leave marks for sure

I had the same request and I could not get it removed for the customer. Not sure if anyone has any new insight on this.

I don’t suppose hot water is an option?
