Hey guys,
Anyone have a remote start on their machines? Was it easy install? And where did you buy the kit?
I have a Pressure Pro, cold, 8 GPM machine.
I’m a one man crew for the time being and some of the jobs recently I would have really benefited from being able to start and stop the machine from a remote.

What would the benefit of a remote start really be?
The ball valve really acts as the prime start-stop tool.
Convenience mostly, I’ve ran into issues lately where I’m at the back of the house and the neighbour or home owner is talking to me, Also this last job I did I was on a second storey deck that was only accessible through the house so instead of running back to the truck and then back up to the deck it would be sweet just to press a button. I always start my machine with the trigger pulled so dragging all the hose back to the truck in awkward situations would be nice ie running out of gas… Haha

You my friend, are over thinking things.
Buy a ladder and quit traipsing through peoples houses.
If you ever do have to shut off the machine (why?, if the job is not finished), pull the trigger to relieve the line pressure and re-start when ready.
And make an appointment to speak with the neighbor after the work is done.
Yeah that one house I used a ladder to run the line but it had glass railings and the ladder didn’t reach the top. But anyways that’s fair enough Tim, I’m a bit of an over thinker

It is okay to over think (not that you need permission to do so). But over think does not at all equate to over earn. Pick one. They are not necessarily related.
they make them, but from what I have herd from the guys that have used them is that the vibration from the machine eventually mess them up and they don’t last.
If your Powerwasher is bolted on your trailer have it setup to go into bypass so when not in use the water keeps circulating thru it so the pump doesnt over heat. All my machines are setup in bypass so we never have to deal with having to worry about shutting the machines off in the middle of a job no matter what comes our way. No need for a remote starter.
Yeah my machine is bolted in my van and is set up for bypass in my tank.
