Really dirty car wash bays

How would you guys recommend I clean a car wash bay that has mold and really thick black stains. I don’t have any pics yet but should have some later. My question is, what can I use to get the wall totally clean?

Pics would be nice, but I am going ahead and assuming brick walls?

Yeah brick walls. They’re really nasty.

I always thought it was funny that we get to clean areas that are meant to clean. Lol

first thing you need to do is find out what chems they use in that bay and make sure they dont have a bad reaction with SH or whatever you use to clean the area.

Aluminum brightener. Hydrofluoric acid is the key to cutting through the soap and wax residue.

Yes, it’s fairly dangerous stuff…just learn to respect it and use appropriate PPE. And don’t get it on ya.

Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum but thought I would put my .02 in here.

If you’re going to use hydrofluoric acid, please read up on it. Russ said it is “fairly dangerous stuff”. I would respectfully change that to VERY dangerous stuff. This is my first post so I can’t insert a link, but paste this in your browser (without the spaces)

Yeah guys I used the aluminum brightner. Took all of the precautions and turned out pretty good. Thanks a ton.
