So I added a ball valve to my plumbing so that I wouldn’t lose prime to my 8gpm when I check my filter. It was THE BIGGEST PITA trying to man handle the short 1.5” poly braid. Finally got everything into place and cranked the motor to let it Prime. I noticed something traveling up the tube and scrambled to shut the motor down before it was pushed into the pump. Here it is. A small wad of plastic from the poly braid had found its way into the hose and almost into the pump. So there’s my close call lol.
I used too much elemonator/not enough rinsing on a stucco house with little cracks in it. After it dried it weeped bright white lines out of all the cracks. Or it could’ve been that it was too hot and I was trying to do too much at once. Lines didn’t scrub off or even go away when wet.
Homeowner didn’t care. Said he was just happy it was ready for him to paint which is why he wanted it washed. Bout had a heart attack and probably looked like a lost puppy when I knocked on the door.
Oh… a mile long vinyl fence out in the country and homeowners weren’t home. I wasn’t feeling well and had to take a long walk to poo away from the house and the wide open. I was knockin on the devil’s door and barely made it to cover and poo city. No toilet paper. There are two rolls and a pair of gym shorts behind the back seat of the truck at all times.
No. It’s on the correct side of the filter. I close the valve and the pump stays primed. I can then clean out the filter and close the filter up and open the ball valve again and back to normal.
I have a valve coming off tote. So what I do is close the valve from tote. Then I can clean the filter and flush it with water. Then replace filter and seal it. Then open valve back up on tote. Now I have a clean filter and the line is fully primed.
@Racer . If there is an air pocket it’s tiny. Every time I would clean my filter out it would take too long for my comfort for the 1.5” hose to prime to my pump. Now I can check and clean the filter when ever I want without losing that prime.
