PT is 6 months down here, cedar (most of what I do) is 6 to 8 weeks. I use a moisture meter (impresses the heck out of the customers) and ensure it’s under 15%. New construction in sub-divisions is done a day after it’s put up. Always looks bad to me but the builder’s love the way I do it compared to the way the painter’s they had used to do it. Painting and staining are not the same thing.

Genius! The simple things are sometimes the most over thought, thanks man as always. Just ordered one off of Amazon.!

Hello! i wanted to add onto this fuel cutoff post because i agree so much.

If you disable kill switches then the only way to kill motor is to cut fuel. This will always remove as much fuel as possible from system.

Honda GX 690 's have a fuel pump and don’t suffer from this.

I feel your pain. The 4 of us moved in with my mother in law in her two bedroom a little over two years ago. We started out trying to balance our house in town and here but were running ourselves ragged. So we sold everything and moved in with her. There at the end we had motion detectors and cameras set up in her room for when she tried to get up. She’d forget she couldn’t walk more than a couple of steps without falling. We were up a dozen times a night. She passed in January on my daughters 13th birthday. Taking care of a parent I feel is one of the greatest honors a person can have. But you’re right, it’s tough.
