More regulation is always better! 
what do they proposed to use? electric heating is just as bad. and their grid system will not support that much power usage.
They also are proposing banning diesel semis because they are dirty and somehow according to the article I read, also racist. Can that state just break off and fall into the ocean yet? There is no replacement for them, yet they want to ban them… 
All it takes is a click of a hacker’s mouse to take down the electric grid.
No small engines, no cars or trucks, no natural gas, an electric grid that starts fires because of lack of maintenance and is not capable of meeting demand, and not enough water. What could go wrong?
Also, where do they think their electricity comes from?
They absolutely do not care one whit, just a few council members run everything. Frankly they’ve been trying to eradicate that state of anyone that doesn’t meet the ‘utopian society’ they dream of.
