Quick Talk Podcast #303

Great podcast. A lot of great info in it from marketing to hiring.

The guest is Brian Hegarty who is worth listening to all the podcasts he’s been a guest on. He has a course on hiring rock star employees and I sat in a breakout session behind him last year at the Huge Convention where the topic was employee retention despite his knowledge on the subject. The guy is always learning and even drops some book titles for those interested.

Anyone here spring for SendJim yet? I looked into other ringless voicemail companies, but I’m afraid they’ll sell my customers info. It sounds like that’s not sendjim’s MO, but I dig the idea of sending ringless voicemails to next day jobs as a reminder or even past customers for the annual check ins. Anyone using it.

Listened to that today. I was considering the super course which comes with 3 months of send jim for free. The ring less voicemail seems really great for following up with customers without being intrusive.

I’d be interested in thoughts from anyone that uses send jim as well or has taken the super course.

I make around 15-20 reminder calls and about the same follow up calls every week. Recording two voicemails sounds like a dream come true.

I am looking forward to building out a residential side to my business over the course of this fall and next spring. I am interested in the roi on send jim postcards vs eddm.

I’m not even remotely interested in traditional mail campaigns. I’m completely interested in remarketing current customers and streamlining things though.

I listened to that one last week, didn’t Josh mention a free two week trial of sendjim? I don’t remember and not sure of the stipulations after the two weeks.

Same, traditional mail is a dog’s breakfast. But, I really liked the voicemail bomb. Probably something I will look into early Spring next year.
