Question on leaking weep hole on surface cleaner

I have a 3 year old generic brand 24" surface cleaner. It recently lost about 50% of it’s pressure and I figured out there is water coming from the weep hole of the swivel (located on the underside of the cleaner).

I’m looking for advice on repairing the swivel. I did some initial searching and found that I can rebuild the swivel since it’s likely a bad seal. Does that sound right?

Thoughts on rebuilding the swivel or getting a new swivel??

Thanks!

Or, sell it for $100 and pick up a Whisper Wash.

If the surface cleaner housing you have is in good shape and you want to utilize it then buy a whisper wash swivel assembly (such as a WW312) and retrofit it onto your housing.
