PW turns off! Help needed

So I made a little video of the problem I’m having , my Pw turns off when I open or close my ball valve . Not sure what the problem might be ? TIA

Sound like your unloader is sticky

Could it be that I switched the pump from a 4.8 Gpm to a 5.5 gpm? And the unloader couldn’t handle it anymore ?

If you didn’t have an unloader on, and just had the hose hooked up directly to the pump with open ballvalve on, the minute you tried to close ballvalve the engine would cutout. So it does make sense that you have too much backpressure now and need to adjust the unloader for the new gpm, or unloader is going bad. I’m not saying thats whats happening, but could be.

So my bypass is not on top of the pump , it’s on the side of the trailer . How do I know if I need to replace it or does it need just a tweaking ?

Just set the unloader and see how it does

Thanks to everyone , So it was my unloader that went bad , got a new one on amazon. Had a buddy of my install it and my machine is working like a boss again. Apparently unloaders go bad really fast

Which unloaders are you buying?

K7 unloaders

Oh ok, I have not heard of anyone getting K7 that were duds. I run K5’s and I have never had a issue and I’ve owned plenty of them

Whats the difference between the k5 and k7?

About 2k
