PW pump water issue

My neighbor gave away a PowerStroke with PW24/2.3L pump.
When I turn it on, murky water spouts out from the vent oil filler cap like below. Water rises higher when running at high throttle. PW runs but seems like the pressure is low.
Does this have issue with sealing rings?

Drain oil, fill with muriatic acid. Run for ten minutes. Drain and fill with 80w90 gear oil. Good to go

I agree with dcbrock. Those pumps are basically throwaways and aren’t worth repairing. You can pickup a smaller pump like that for less than $100 new.
