Hey all!
I purchased a second hand 8 gpm unit that has 200 hours on the gx690 meter. Guy said it worked just fine but couldn’t start it when I drove over 2 hours to buy it. Anyways I bought it and am taking everything off the skid to sand the skid down, tune up the gx690 and replace the pumps seals.
My question is, what in the heck is this line??? It’s not my fuel line because I already have two of those going to my fuel tank. Any advice is welcomed!
Thanks
Carb drain tube. Turn the flathead screw on the opposite side of the carb and fuel will flow freely out of it (if the carb is good that is)

I wouldn’t expect the pump seals to need replacing at 200 hours. I have almost 700 on mine.
I would agree but with the amount of rust and mildew in this unit i figure might as well. For a unit with such low hours this guy must left it out in the rain full time or maybe let bleach get in it. The cast iron in the engine is good, but the bolts on the outside and the muffler are rusted, as well as the whole skid plate. The pump has some rust and green all over it too. But I got it cheap so it’s worth the overhaul
